課程介紹|Content
This is a course for graduate students focusing on the topics of subjectivity and intersubjectivity which have been developed across disciplines such as psychology, anthropology, philosophy and linguistics. In globalizing, neoliberal and decolonizing forces in complex and unequal conjunctions with people’s daily life, recent ethnographic studies offer an important lens for looking at intersubjectivity which is subject to cultural diversity, social turmoil, political transformation and pandemic chaos. In Part One, this course reviews a few key theoretical approaches to the study of intersubjectivity. In Part Two, this course discusses selected case studies about psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, empathy, emotion and disability in the field of psychology and psychological anthropology, and explores ethnographic studies in the fields of psychological, linguistic and religious anthropology. This course will also take a reflexive step to look at what anthropologists can learn from psychologists or the reverse ways.
本課程為英語授課課程,使用中文和英文教材,修課學生需具備英語能力之外,也需具備中文溝通的基本能力。本課程以「互為主體性」為主題,由「心理人類學」理論架構出發,延伸到哲學、心理學、語言人類學、精神醫學的理論架構,探討個體意識和身體為中心的主體性、人與人之間的互為主體性、以及人/物、人/非人之間的互為主體性、宗教經驗的討論。本課程也會閱讀人類學和心理學取向,探討互為主體性的相關民族誌研究和行為科學研究。
- 本課程已申請深耕辦數位互動課程補助計畫(E計畫)。修課同學、網路學員或旁聽同學皆應簽署「參與數位互動課程(E計畫)同意書」並遵守相關規範,始得參與本課程。
課程目標|Goal
- Critically review and discuss theoretical development and interdisciplinary discussions of intersubjectivity.
- Examine anthropological and psychological studies on intersubjectivity.
- Apply above intellectual concepts and theoretical frameworks to their own experiences and observations of intersubjective conjuncture and disjuncture.
- Enhance students’ awareness of social inequality, cultural difference and ethnic boundary-making as well as a dynamic formation of intersubjective positioning and belonging.
